A series of improvised compositions recorded live at the Astoria Hotel in Vancouver, Into This Juvenile Apocalypse Our Golden Blood to Pour Let Us Never is the third collaborative record from North American post-metal supergroup SUMAC and Keiji Haino, legendary multi-genre experimentalist and purveyor of the extraordinarily lengthy album title. Even after so many decades as a musical innovator, after releasing so much of such enormous variety of style, Haino remains firmly capable of making impactful and captivating music. In its recording Juvenile Apocalypse is gloriously grubby but its actual content is so resolutely exceptional; an unerringly thunderous, expertly constructed musical display.
