Stones Taro continues to demonstrate his grasp of multiple realms of dance music with the Seed Man EP, released on his own label NC4K. Each track here thrives in its own way, from the breakbeats and sampled dancehall of “Magma Diver” and simple, energetic house of “Auto Translation” to the no-frills jungle of the title track. To achieve this much bounce and groove, all with such detail in production over several distinct styles, takes serious ability: Taro remains a phenomenally talented and boundlessly mobile crafter of deliciously huge electronic tunes.
